Dr. Mark D. Geller – Administrative Director
As the Administrative Director for The Geller Dental Group, Dr. Mark Geller consults one-on-one with patients to develop individualized treatment plans to meet their needs. Additionally, he oversees day-to-day operations, coordinates the efforts of the professional staff and collaborates with Dr. Randy Geller, his son and partner, to help the practice reach its goals.
Dr. Geller built the practice from the ground up, and continues to steer its future. His decades of experience inspired him to create a patient-friendly layout for the practice’s new state-of-the facility. Knowing that relaxed patients are happy patients, he designed the treatment rooms to allow patients to gaze out onto the courtyard gardens. This serenity keeps patients at ease, and demonstrates a key principle of the Geller philosophy – complete dental care, for mind and body.
Another aspect of comprehensive dental care is the bringing together of multiple specialists and general practitioners under one roof. This desire to serve patients more fully was a driving force behind Dr. Geller’s creation of the new facility and the merger with the Merrick dental practice of Drs. Roger Pflugfelder and Arthur Stanton.
Dr. Geller graduated from New York University College of Dentistry after completing his undergraduate work at SUNY Buffalo. He’s a member of the American Dental Association, American Heart Association, Bellmore Chamber of Commerce, Bellmore Study Group, New York State Dental Association, Nassau County Dental Society and the US Speed Skating Association. Randy is married to Dana Geller, D.P.T., a physical therapist, and Brad, an ophthalmologist, is married to Debora Geller, M.D., an allergy and asthma specialist.

The more at ease patients feel about coming in, the more proactive they may be in practicing good hygiene. This makes it possible for her to focus on prevention and education, rather than the less pleasant aspects of a visit, such as “drilling and filling.”
